Winners are made in milli-seconds! Dynojet's Quick Shifter helps you maintain a winning edge by allowing you to up-shift without engaging your clutch or rolling off your throttle. It works via a very brief termination of fuel and or ignition, and thereby unloads the transmission long enough to allow for a gear change. The length of that termination period is adjustable as is the minimum RPM setting for the Quick Shifter to engage.

The Quick Shifter functions in connection with the Power Commander and is fully programmable through the Power Commander.

No wiring modifications are required; OEM style connectors are supplied

Note: Some bikes require a Dynojet Ignition Module for the Quick Shifter to function properly.

When ordering either the Shift Rod Pressure/Tension Sensor or the Linear Travel Sensor, you must make sure to order the correct one for the direction of movement during the upshift (push or pull).

If using the shift rod pressure/tension sensor, press on the shift lever in the direction of an upshift and watch to see if the shift rod is “pushing” or “pulling” on the clevis on the shift shaft.

This will determine which type is needed. If using the linear travel sensor move the shift lever in the direction of an upshift. If this movement is “down” then a “pull type” sensor is required.

If this movement is “up” then a “push type” sensor is required.

Because it is essential to order the correct version of the Quick Shifter (Pressure/Tension Sensor vs Linear Travel Sensor, Push vs Pull versions) , applicable shift rods, and in some cases an accompanying Ignition Module, please call us with your bike information and we will assist you in choosing the correct components.
