about your
Dynojet Power Commander EX
Model
Power
Commander EX USB is a street approved* Fuel Injection Module
available for most Bike Models. *California ARB E.O. No.
D-619

The Dynojet Power Commander EX is
approved for street use and allows limited areas of
fine-tuning of your fuel-injected motorcycle when changing air
cleaner, pipes, cams, or making other performance adjustments. The
EX model differs from the regular USB model primarily in that
it is not adjustable in the lower and mid-ranges of the RPM
bands and throttle positions. The Power Commander EX
model also does not allow fuel adjustment via buttons on the
face of the device, as the regular USB model
does.
We'll ship you a Power Commander EX
pre-loaded with a map developed by Dynojet Research. If Dynojet offers a map which
matches or closely matches your bike and its unique modifications,
we will download that map into your Power
Commander (no charge!) If a map matching your
modifications has not yet been made by Dynojet, then your Power
Commander will come with a map designed to improve
performance over stock. We always recommend a test with a
reputable Power Commander Tuning Center to ensure proper air/fuel
ratio.
Each
Power Commander Kit includes the fuel adjustment module (fuel &
ignition modules are included on many H-D models), software and USB
cables for downloading maps, and a 9 volt power
adapter. Dynojet is continuously mapping different combinations
for each bike.
We recommend
custom adjustments be made at authorized Power Commander Tuning
Centers, such as TNT Performance Dyno.
No wiring
modifications are required; OEM style connectors are supplied
